Everett Lee "Eddie" Mains, 83, of Dry Ridge and formerly of Walton and Erlanger died Friday at Hospice of St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood.
He was a retired Teamster with Local 100, a volunteer with Senior Services of Northern Kentucky and an Army veteran of World War II.
His son, Greggory Mains, died in 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Natalie Mains; sons, Steven Mains of Florence and Keith Mains of Florence; stepsons, David Thomas of Plainfield, Ind. and James Thomas of Indianapolis; daughters, Le Etta Jasper of Cincinnati, Piper Turner of Jacksonville, Fla., Kathy Mains of Florence and Melody Mains of Florence; 22 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
