Frank Anthony Agricola, age 86, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 4 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 28, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Frank lived a life rich in family, service, and passion.
A proud Army Veteran, Frank dedicated a portion of his life to serving his country, instilling a sense of pride and duty that resonated throughout his life. His commitment to service was matched only by his deep love for his family, which he cherished above all else.
Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 years Barbara.
Frank is survived by his loving sister Nora Sewell.
Frank is also survived by his beloved children: Son Robert Agricola and his wife Kim; Daughter Beth Cushing and her husband Jack; and Son Brian Agricola and his wife Cheryl, and step daughter Susanne Parker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Amy Talbert (Doug), Mary Stenger (Steve), Jennifer Epling (Brad), Lecole Bell (Zac), Alyssa Agricola and many step grand children as well as great grand children. Together, they will forever hold dear the memories of their father, grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Martha Redman Agricola, and two stepchildren, Tony and Andy Carr. These losses were profound in his life, as he held close to the memories of those who had passed before him.
In addition to his family, Frank was well-known for his passions and interests. A lifelong enthusiast, he had a remarkable fondness for Lionel Trains, which brought him joy and excitement as well as a GREEN THUMB for his garden. His love for sports was evident—he was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds, the University of Kentucky Basketball team, and the Cincinnati Bengals, often sharing his enthusiasm for these teams with family and friends.
Frank's life will be celebrated with a visitation on December 10, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM, both held at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, with military graveside rites.
Frank Anthony Agricola will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his loyal service to his country, and his vibrant spirit that touched the lives of many. May he rest in peace, knowing he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
