Fred Cantrell

Fred Cantrell,
83 of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away June 24, 2016 at his home. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Masonic Lodge #668 Oakley, the Syrian Shrine Legion of Honor and VFW Post 6979. Fred served in the US Air Force during the Korean War stationed in Germany. He retired from South Western Publishing as a machinist and was a Kentucky Colonel. Fred is preceded in death by his first wife Retha Cantrell, sister Darlis Ehlman and mother Mae Reece. Fred is survived by his wife Patricia Cantrell. He is also survived by his daughter Sharon (Rick) Hygema; step children Patsy (John) Kreitler, Jeffrey (Kim) Meyer, Larry Meyer, Barry (Denise) Meyer and Tracey (John) Nagle; grandchildren James, Michelle, Chelsea, Chase, Travis, Richelle, Mary, LeeAnn, Madison, Kylie, Allison and John; great grandchildren Austin, Jamie and Katlyn; brother Boyd "Joe" Cantrell. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 11 am until time of Masonic Service at 1 pm. Christian service will immediately follow. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Memorials suggested to the Diabetes Association, Autism Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
