Frederick "Fred" William Welch, 84, of Cincinnati and formerly of Latonia, died, Wednesday, Dec. 9 at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He worked in maintenance at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati and was an Army veteran of World War II and member of Sycamore Senior Center in Cincinnati.
His wife, Dorothy Marie Welch, died in 1984.
Survivors include his daughters, Beverly Florence of Huntley, Ill. and Connie Bowman of Covington; brothers, Cecil Welch of Erlanger and Robert Welch of Florence; friend and caregiver, Andy Bryson of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14 at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home in Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 11a.m. Monday, Dec. 14. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
