George Ralph Hurst, 63 of Newport, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Baptist Convalescent Center. He was an automotive mechanic. He was born on April 25, 1947 in Boone County, Kentucky to Ralph and Pauline Hurst who preceded him in death, and also his sister, Jackie Hurst Carballosa Casali. He is survived by his Brothers: Roger Hurst, Ronald Kennedy, and Harrison Hurst. Sisters: Shelby Thornton, Angela Wood, and Rhonda Christenson. A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2011 (George's 64th birthday) at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, KY at 5:30 pm. Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens of Taylor Mill, KY, is serving the family.
