George John Phillips, 80, of Erlanger, died Friday at the Baptist Village Care Center, Erlanger.
He worked as a newspaper mailer for the Cincinnati Enquirer and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Good Faith Masonic Lodge 95 F and AM and Community Pentacostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna C. Phillips in 2002.
Survivors include his sons, George Phillips, Jr. of Bloomington, Ind.; Ron Phillips of Burlington; his daughters, Eunice Leonard of Owenton, Ky.; Jo Phillips of Erlanger, Ky.; Tammy Phillips of Independence, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation begins at noon. Burial will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum, Taylor Mill, Ky.
