Gerald Cahill

Gerald Vincent Cahill, 87, of Florence Kentucky, passed away on June 17, 2017. He was born on February 2, 1930 to the late John and Florence Cahill. On July 21, 1950 he married Margot Shyrigh who preceded him in death in 2012.
Gerald is survived by his children Steve (Debbie) Cahill, Keith (Mary) Cahill, Melanie (Tom) Wilmhoff, Kevin (Ruth) Cahill and Andrew (Rhonda) Cahill; brothers Gene Cahill and Louis Cahill; sister Sarah Brewer; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife, Gerald was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Gerald attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He was a founding member and volunteer for the Point Pleasant Fire Department, an avid gardener and a member of the Greater Cincinnati Daylily and Hosta Society.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 10 am until time of Prayer Service at 11:30am. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
