Gilbert Carpenter

Gilbert Galen Carpenter, 67, of Burlington died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Florence.
He was a retired equipment operator in field maintenance at the airport, an Army veteran and a member of the Burlington Lodge No. 264 of the F&AM and the Scottish Rite, Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Sharlene Carpenter; son, Bill Carpenter of Elsmere; daughter, Pam Closterman of Amelia, Ohio; brothers, Robert Carpenter of Tucson, Ariz. and Don Carpenter of Burlington; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Burlington Baptist Church in Burlington. Visitation will be from 4 p.m until 8 p.m. Friday at the church and also beginning there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Mausoleum in Taylor Mill.
Stith Funeral Home in Florence is handling arrangements.
