Gina Louise Lyon

Gina Louise Lyon, 57, of Taylor Mill, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born December 7, 1965, in Covington, the daughter of the late Earl Breeden and Rosemary (McKinney) Breeden, of Jonesville, KY.  She was a Quality Control Specialist with Citi and a member of The Bridge Church in Alexandria.  She was married April 27, 1985, to Mark Robert Lyon, who survives.  Also surviving are her children, Michael Lyon (Leslie); Elizabeth Crossman (Andrew); Jeffrey Lyon (Whitley); Emily Cropper (David); her grandchildren, Roman, Eden, and Everett Cropper, and Arley, Cabot, and Murphy Lyon; her brothers and sisters Debbie Race, Robin Abney (Dale), Carolyn Ward (Jeff), Earl Breeden (Lynda), John Breeden, Jerry Breeden, and a host of many family members and friends. Gina was an incredible wife, mother, mamaw and friend to so many. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, camping at Lake Cumberland with her family and  taking vacations to Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Gina was such an inspiration to so many people and loved her church family and friends so much, but her Savior most of all. She loved serving others and it brought her great joy to do so. Her faith, generosity, and kindness will be her legacy. 

Visiting Hours will be held from 9AM -12PM, Saturday August 5, 2023, at The Bridge Church, 7906 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria KY. A Funeral service will take place at 12PM, at The Bridge Church. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In honor of Gina’s fight with cancer,  memorial contributions may be made to: Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.
