H. Joan Poetter Conner, 72, of Walton died Sunday, Oct. 11 at Florence Park Care Center in Florence.
She was a retired clerk with the Internal Revenue Service and a member of First Baptist Church in Walton where she taught Sunday school for young children.
Survivors include cousins and extended family who knew her as "Aunt Joan."
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203 and the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
