Helen Godsey

Helen Godsey, 85, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on March 31, 2019 at St Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.  She was born on September 9, 1933 to the late Arvil and Martha Worley.  She married Estel Godsey and he preceded her in death.  Helen was retired Duro Bag where she worked as a machinist.

Along with her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her son Gary Estel Godsey, brother Anthon Alan Worley and grandson Brian Webster.

Helen is survived by her children Alan (Ione) Godsey, Martha Jane Godsey-Webster, and Pamela Sue Godsey – Metzo; grandchildren Brandi Rothweiler, Thomas Webster, Matt McDougall, William Paul Metzo, Kimber Carnes, Randy Carnes, Danny Rothweiler, Alan Anthon Godsey, Amanda Godsey-Ballard, Jessica Godsey, Cody Godsey, Amber Metzo,  Mariah Godsey, Kaipo Uaiwa, Kalei Uaiwa, and Marin Godsey; sister Ruth Worley; as well as 15 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm.  Burial will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2 pm in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  To view the full obituary and leave online condolences, please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
