Howard Harshbarger

Howard E. Harshbarger, 85, of Independence, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a retired truck driver from Leeway Trucking Company and a member of Teamsters Local No. 100.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Harshbarger; sons, Dale Harshbarger of Petersburg, David Harshbarger of Burlington, and Kevin Harshbarger of Elsmere; daughters, Lisa Voyette of Jacksonville, Fla., Brenda Mayo of Proctorville, Ohio, and Linda Miller of Huntington, W.Va.; sisters, Regina Fowler of Huntington, W.Va., and Patty Wright of Davis, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
