Hunter Carpenter

Hunter Lee Carpenter, 11 weeks, of Independence died Thursday at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his mother, Shannon Kirby, and father, Brandon Carpenter, both of Independence; a sister, Chelsey Marie Carpenter of Independence; grandparents, David Carpenter and Kathy Penick, both of Independence, Brian Kirby of Burlington and Anna Flower of Visilia, Calif.; great-grandparents, Nora Hensley, Charles Carpenter and Mildred West, all of Independence, and Robert Kirby of Burlington; and great-great-grandmother, Audrey Marie Hensley of Taylor Mill.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill.
