COVINGTON - James A. Black, 66, died Thursday, June 10 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood.
He was a machinist for Stevenson Machinery in in Cincinnati's Roselawn community. He was a United States Marine veteran and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bellevue.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include his father, Charles Black of Constance and his step-mother, Ellen Black of Constance; his wife, Norma Black of Covington; sons, Scott and Steve Black of Bromley, and Jim Black of Clarksville, TN.; daughters, Katie Sumner of Independence and Nancy Black of Villa Hills;
Brother, Greg Black of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Sherry Artman of Cincinnati, OH; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, June 14 from 10 a.m. - noon at Floral Hills Funeral Home of Taylor Mill. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
