James Heeger,
77 of Independence, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at his home. James enjoyed fishing and bowling. His favorite past time was spending time with his family. James is the son of the late Matthew and Sylvia Heeger. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Ben and Louie. James is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Janice Hitch. He is also survived by his children David (Susan) Heeger, Debbie (Craig) Stephenson, Deana (Rob) Kimble and Denise Hoffman; grandchildren Jaymie, Rae, Hannah, Kyle, Kirk, Joel, Ashley, Amanda, Asa, and Aundrea; sister Betty Schaefer, niece Sharon Schaefer and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Burial will immediate follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
