James Mitsch

James Thomas Mitsch,

75, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. James was a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky where he obtained his degree in architecture. He enjoyed spending his free time gardening and working on “DIY” projects as well as woodworking. James was a parishoner at St. Thomas and was devoted to helping his church as much as he could. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Terri, and their children, Melanie Mitsch and Michelle (Chris) Canfield; his grandchildren Garrett and Austin Canfield; siblings Lou (Debbie) Mitsch and Kathy (Allen) Vincent; many extended family members and friends. James is preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Ruby Mitsch and sister Peggy (Donnie) Franks. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 26 E. Villa Place, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky at 12:15 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mitsch family.
