James Malcolm Steely Jr.

Dayton, KY – 5/27/49 – 12/27/20 James Malcolm Steely Jr. after a long battle with Covid, the Lord chose to take him home on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Everyone knows Jr. was a huge Bengals fan, win or lose. To honor his wishes, we are asking everyone who is able, to wear Bengal’s attire to the funeral.  James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeanetta Steely; children, James Malcolm Steely III (Lori), Tonya Renee Tierney (Brad), Kimberly Annette Balser (Christopher); grandchildren, Noel Steely, Summer Balser, Rin Tierney, Noah Balser, Hannah Steely, Kyle Tierney, Caleb Steely; and great-grandson, Hudson Johnson-Balser. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Malcolm Sr. and Flossy Loraine Steely and his grandson, Corey James Tierney. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2020 from 11 am until the Funeral Service at 1 pm, all at Floral Hills Floral Home, Taylor Mill. Due to current restrictions, all guests are asked to wear masks while in attendance.
