Jameson Robert Kersey

Erlanger

It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jameson Robert Kersey, who left us on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at just 20 weeks gestation. Though his time with us was brief, Jameson’s presence was deeply felt and will be cherished forever.

Jameson came into our lives as a beacon of hope and a symbol of boundless love. From the very beginning, he was a dream cherished by his parents, Brandon and Haley, who awaited his arrival with eager anticipation. His tiny heart, though never fully formed, beat with a rhythm that touched the lives of everyone who knew of his impending arrival. His mother’s voice, full of warmth and affection, was the first to greet him, and his father’s hands lovingly caressed the small bump that held him.

Though Jameson’s time on this earth was all too brief, his impact was profound. He brought a unique light into his family’s life, a light that will continue to shine brightly in their hearts. His brief existence has taught us the true essence of love and has reminded us of the fragility and preciousness of life.

Jameson is survived by his loving parents, Brandon Kersey and Haley Childers, who find comfort in the precious memories they hold of him. He is also deeply mourned by his grandparents, Heather and Kevin Turner and Alana and Charlie Childers; brother, Colton Ostermeyer; as well as a large circle of family and friends, all of whom felt the profound sadness of his loss and the deep gratitude for having been touched by his fleeting presence.

Though we did not have the chance to watch him grow, Jameson has left an indelible mark on our lives, one filled with hope, love, and the promise of a bright future. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the dreams we hold dear, and the love that binds us all together.

A graveside service will be held to honor and remember our sweet Jameson on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Floral Hills Funeral Home is assisting the family during this difficult time.

Jameson Robert Kersey, you were deeply loved and will be dearly missed. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace, little one, until we meet again.
