Janet Faye Houston

Janet Faye Houston, of Latonia, KY passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY at the glorious age of 88.

She was born in Covington, KY on January 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Bev and Mary Downey. Janet was a former member of Decoursey Baptist Church and had worked as a baker for Simon Kenton High School. In her spare time, Janet often enjoyed making crafts, playing BINGO and listening to music.

Preceding Janet in death were her parents; her loving husband, Clayton Houston and two sisters, Joyce Landrum and Pauline Jump. Those left surviving to carry on Janet’s memory include her children, Connie (Dale) Hergott, Clayton Wayne Houston and Deron (Annie Haggard) Houston; siblings, Lillian Downey and Roni Downey; grandchildren, Chad Houston and Jami Wermuth; great-grandchildren, Shiloh Houston and Logan Wermuth; as well as many other close relatives and friends.

A Gathering of Friends celebrating Janet’s life will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
