ERLANGER - J.D. Adams, 78, died Monday, Aug. 25, at St. Luke Hospital, Florence.
He was a union electrician, member of Greenview Baptist Church and Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Adams; sons, Garry, Mike and Brian Adams, John Shelton and James Long; daughter, Vickie Waymeyer; sisters, Georgie West and Ollie Haney; brother, John Adams; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 29, with service following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: Senior Services of Northern Kentucky, Elsmere Senior Center, 179 Dell Street, Elsmere, KY 41018.
