Jeanetta Steely

Jeanetta Steely, 72, of Taylor Mill Ky, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at home, with her family by her bedside.  She was born September 12, 1951, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Floyd Foster and Mae Hughes Foster.  She was an active volunteer for Bellevue and Dayton Community/schools. She retired from Kroger as Human Resources Manager after 29 years and was a lifetime member of Little Country Missionary Baptist Church. Jeanetta was married to James Steely since July 19, 1969, who preceded her in death December 27, 2020.  She is also preceded in death by her Brother Jimmie Foster, Thomas Foster, and grandson Corey Tierney. She is survived by her children,  James M. Steely IIl (Lori); Tonya R Tierney (Brad) Kimberly A. Balser ( Chris); brother, Fredrick W. Foster; Grandchildren- Noel Steely, Summer Balser, Rin Mori (Ryu), Noah Balser (Ashley), Hannah Steely, Kyle Tierney, Caleb Steely and Great Grandson Hudson Johnson-Balser . She will also be missed by an abundance of family and friends! Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, January 1, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where visitation will be held Monday from 11-1 PM.  Burial will be 11AM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
