Jeanette, beloved wife to Charles and loving mother to Tim and Kevin; Maw maw to Emily, Ethan, Evan, Lauren, Will and Nicole, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Jeanette, the daughter of Walter and Lelia Raabe and sister to Ramona Christian, was born in Covington, KY, October 23, 1930. Mom married her high school sweetheart Charlie,at Latonia Baptist Church on June 4th, 1949. The couple moved to Indianapolis, IN in 1956, where mom called home for 39 years. Jeanette and Charlie celebrated 62 perfect years together in June at Maple Creek Country Club in Indianapolis, where they had been members since 1971. Jeanette's passion and joy were her family, faith, and friends. Jeanette worked as an administrative secretary in the Warren Township school district for twenty years and was a member of Franklin Road Baptist church. The couple moved to Bonita Springs, FL, in 1995 where Jeanette enjoyed playing bridge and wonderful friendships within the Hunters Ridge community; she was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bonita. Jeanette is survived by her husband Charles; sons Tim (Christina) Madden and Kevin (Laura Gibson) Madden ; sister Ramona Christian; six grandchildren: Emily, Ethan, Evan, Will, Lauren, and Nicole; along with many, many friends. Mom was our best and most loyal friend; The light of our lives and she will be missed until we see her again. We Love You Mom.
