Jerry Downard

Jerry A. Downard, 70, of Williamstown, Kentucky passed away at his home on May 17, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on October 23, 1947 to the late Hugh and Ruby Downard. On February 5, 1966 he married Susan Hedger, and she survives. Jerry served in the US Army in the Vietnam era in the 173rd Airbourne Division. He was retired from Toyota in Georgetown after having worked for GM in Norwood.

Along with his wife of over 50 years Jerry is survived by his daughters Emily (Troy) Becklehimer and Elley (Paul) Lopreato; grandchildren Eryn, Adam, Trey, Hannah and Holly; great grandchildren Keirston, Jayden and Noah; brother Ronnie Downard; sister Judy Truesdell; as well as many extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held in the Downard Home located at 507 North Main St, Williamstown on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 2 pm until 6 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 9:30 am in the Downard Home. Burial will take place at 11:00 am in Kentucky Veteran North Cemetery Williamstown.
