John Born Jr

TAYLOR MILL - John F. "Jack" Born Jr., 85, died Wednesday March 12 at his home.
He was a switchman for 34 years for L&N Railroad and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia. He was also a member of Covington Moose Lodge #1469 and V.F.W. Post # 9272, Seminole Fla. and a U.S. Army World War II veteran. His wife, Ruby Mae Boone Born died previously.
Survivors include his son, Michael J. Born; stepdaughter, Billie Jean Daly; sister, Dolores Robinson; brother, Allen Born; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. until prayers at 10:10 a.m. Saturday March 15 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Latonia.
