John Graven, Sr.

John E. Graven, Sr, 84, passed away on July 28, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice, Edgewood. He was the son of the late Elizabeth and Raymond Graven.

After graduating from high school he served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam as a Civil Engineer. John was known to always be ready to lend a helping hand. John would drop what he was doing to help others. He was one you could rely on.

John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jan Edmondson Graven.

John was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill, Mary Ann, Raymond, and Donald. He is survived by his children, John Graven, Jr., (Wife Clasien), Patty Dusing, (Husband, Jim Dusing), Diana Kuhlmann, (Husband, Dan Kuhlmann). Also, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 12 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3rd 2019 with burial services immediately following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
