John Henry "Jack", 80, of Florence, KY passed into glory on Friday, November 18th, 2011 at Mountain Crest Nursing Care Center in Cincinnati, OH. Jack was born on June 27, 1931 in Cincinnati and was the son of the late Richard and Antoinette Lange. He retired from AT&T after a successful career as an engineer and technical instructor. He was preceded in death by sisters Melva Hutt and Louise Brackney and brother William Lange. Survivors include his children, Robert (Nancy) Lange of Flat Rock, NC; Judith (David) Ramsey of Georgetown, KY; Philip (Jane Packer) Lange of Erlanger, KY; and William (Stacey) Lange of Columbus, OH. The mother of his children, Roberta Lowe of Covington, KY. His grandchildren John, Martin, Teresa, Melinda, Christopher, Nicholas, Zachary, Victoria, Bethany and Bennett. Brother Robert (Estelle) Lange of Hamburg, NY and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jack will be missed by all those who loved him dearly. We fondly remember his willingness to help a friend or a neighbor with a project, the quiet summer nights listening to the Reds, his faithfulness each Christmas season to the beautiful Nativity setting that he so lovingly crafted. And the love he showed to his children and grandchildren through his generous spirit. May the Lord bless him and keep him. Friends and Family are invited to a visitation at Stith Funeral home in Florence on Tuesday, November 22nd at 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence at 12:10 p.m. that same day with burial at Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill immediately thereafter. A celebration of Jack's life will take place directly after the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack's honor to the Alzheimer's Association , 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Nothing will separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).
