John Piper

John A. Piper, Sr., age 89 of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, March 28th at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Mr. Piper was a tool and dye maker and a member of the Independence Lions Club and the Saint Edward's Catholic Church. Surviving are his sons, Johnny Piper, Jr. of Independence and Dave Piper of Bethlehem; his daughter Pam McMillin of Union; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Saint Edward's Catholic Church on Monday, April 2nd from 10am until Noon. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Noon. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Saint Edward's Catholic Church.
