John Riggs, Sr.
74, of Independence, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He worked for Crescent Paper Tube for 43 years and was a member of the Good Guy Club. John is survived by his wife Pat Riggs; children Connie (Mark) Smith of Independence, KY, John (Dianna) Riggs, Jr. of Rising Sun, IN, Jeff (Jessica) Riggs, of Taylor Mill, KY, Kelli (Michael) Russell of Louisville, KY, and Shelli (Kelly) Rapier of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren Alex, Chapen, Jarod, Sarah, Amber, Emily, Shannon, Colin and Hayden; and 9 great grandchildren. Memorials suggested to the American Lung Association. A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm.
