John Wayne Savage,
68 of Independence, Kentucky entered the Kingdom of his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 4, 2015. He is a retired US Army Veteran serving 22 years. John is a member of the First Baptist Church of Milford, VFW Post #6423 and the Disabled American Veterans. He served two combat tours in Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star, Silver Star and two Purple Hearts. John is survived by his wife of 47 years Lois Haggerty Savage. He is also survived by his daughters Kelly (husband Dan) Gill and Kari (husband Don) Stewart; grandchildren Ryan, Lauren, Katie, Maddy, Emily, Gavin and Sam; father John Savage; sisters Linda Borton and Jackie Robinette. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm.
