John Silva, Jr.

John Silva, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, September 29, 2023.  He was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida to Lucinda and John Silva, Sr. 

He was one of God’s special gifts to this world and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. 

John is survived by his wife, Jennifer; son John Derickson Silva; daughter-in-law Nicole who was loved as a daughter; granddaughter Rachel Hess (David) and grandson John.  He also leaves a sister, Sue Hill, and brothers Michael (Sharon); George (Cathy); David (Ida) and Bill (Wilda), all of whom live in Florida.  There will be no visitation at his request, rather he wanted everyone to take that time to do something they enjoy.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
