Joseph “Joe” Alig,

71 of Hebron, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, surrounded by his family. He recently retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood Campus, where he was a Respiratory Therapist and managed the Pulmonary Function Lab. Joe was a motorcycle and car enthusiast and enjoyed working with computers. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Kim Alig. Joe is also survived by his children Amy (Stephen) Gondosch, Joseph A. (Lucy) Alig, Emily (Joe) Mock and Katelyn (Riley Boggs) Taylor; grandchildren Haley, Olivia, Chloe, Cameron, Evelyn, Vlada and Oliver; siblings Jack Alig, Pam Alig, Eddie Alig and Jeff Alig; many extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Loraine Alig and brother Bob Alig. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Burial with military honors will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Minkahz Nets Mission Inc.
