Joyce Cross, 60, of Independence died on Sunday at her residence.
She was a retired collections agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
Survivors include her husband, E. Michael Cross; a daughter, Amy Reed; a sister, Janet Profitt; a brother, Joe Spears; and three grandchildren.
Services will at 11 a.m. Sunday at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Sunday. The body will be cremated. Inurnment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
