Joyce Renfrow

Joyce Ellen Renfrow (Cole), 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at her home in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born on November 17, 1959 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the adopted daughter of the late William D. Cole and Mary D. Cole (Keough).

Joyce graduated from Hempfield Area Senior High School in Greensburg, PA in 1978 and began her lifelong career as a nurse. She married Abdulsalam Ibrahim in 1979 and together they had two children. She later married Paul Renfrow and they had one daughter.

She is survived by her two children, Michael William Ibrahim and husband Blake Siskavich of Boston, MA and Nadia Nicole Ibrahim-Taney and wife Margaret (Taney) of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Ethan, Sara, Rebecca, Nicholas, Isabella, and Iome, an aunt, uncle, and several cousins. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and her best buddy Cookie.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary, brother Patrick E. Cole, and daughter Jessica Liane Renfrow, who passed away on the same day.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Due to the restrictions as set forth by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
