Julia Anderson,

79 of Florence, Kentucky formerly of Bowlingtown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was a member of Waco Baptist Church in Waco, Kentucky. Julia spent many years as a teacher and also managed Waffle House restaurants.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and a forever friend who will truly be missed. She is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Anderson and son Ronnie Anderson. Julia is survived by her son Virgil (Brittany) Anderson Jr.; grandchildren Samantha (Adam), Leah (Michael), Megan and Wyatt; great grandchildren Devon, Lakyn, Kherrington, Levi, Paisley, Emily and Dakota; many extended family members and friends. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Bowlingtown Cemetery, Buckhorn, Kentucky on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Due to the current COVID 19 Pandemic please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing while in the funeral home.
