Karen Sims

Karen Janice Wells Sims,
Of Latonia, Kentucky passed away on February 3, 2018 at Cold Spring Transitional Care Center. She was born on May 11, 1952 to the late Chester and Mary Wells. In 1981 she married Don Sims who precedes her in death. Karen was a former member of Hilltop Church of Christ and a current member of Plum Creek Christian Church. She was the Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troop #329. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Karen is survived by her daughter and son in law Amanda and Jason Prater; her dogs Ziva and Abby; many extended family and friends. She is also preceded in death by her sister Charla Wells.
