Katherine Brinkman

July 1, 1923 — February 20, 2009

K. Loraine Lahner Brinkman, 85, of Covington, died Friday at Hospice of the Bluegrass-Northern Kentucky, Fort Thomas.
She was a homemaker, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of St. Patrick Church, Taylor Mill, St. Patrick Irish Rovers, and Covington Senior Citizens, and a former Girl Scout leader.
Her husband, Bernard J. Brinkman, died in 2000.
Survivors include sons, David Brinkman of Fort Thomas and Greg Brinkman of Independence; a daughter, Diane McPherson of Highland Heights; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, Taylor Mill. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
