Kathleen Mary Pidgeon

Kathleen “Kathy” Mary Pidgeon (nee Hambleton) formerly of Erlanger, was called to her heavenly home on February 1, 2023, at Magnolia Springs in Florence.   Born April 1, 1951, to the late Allen R. Hambleton and Grace M. Borgarding Hambleton, Kathy grew up in Saylor Park, Ohio with her siblings the late Mary Alice Kumpf (late Don), Patricia Schwab (George), late Ross Hambleton (Sandy), Jill Hurd, Mark Hambleton, and Dale Lunn (Pat).  She married Thomas G. Pidgeon, Jr. on April 6, 1973, who preceded her in death May 25, 2019.  Surviving are her children Thomas G. Pidgeon III, Jonathan A. Pidgeon, and Emily K. Pidgeon McGuire (Steven) and her grandchildren Audrey Pidgeon, Lane McGuire, Lila McGuire, and Peter Pidgeon.  Kathy loved to help others and served as a nurse for more than forty years mostly at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. A special thanks to the staff of Magnolia Springs who became like family the past few years.  Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati, 644 Linn St. #1046, Cincinnati, OH 45203.  Visitation at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill on a later date.
