Kathleen Townsend,
74 of Covington, Kentucky passed away on July 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. On May 10, 1943 she was born to the late Calip and Cora Griffin.
Kathleen is survived by her children Jack (Fred) Townsend, Michele Townsend, Mark (Donna) Townsend, Donald (Shawna) Townsend, Timmy (Christine) Townsend, David (Becky) Townsend and Daniel Townsend; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother Mike Griffin; sisters Mary Lou Mallicott, Jean Hornsby, Betty Jo Norman and Christine Griffin.
In addition to her parents Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband Jack Townsend, brother Kenny Griffin and sister Ann Goins.
Kathleen was the Dietary Supervisor when she retired from Rosedale Green after 30 years of employment. She enjoyed music and loved Pittsburgh Steelers Football. She will be truly missed by her family and friends whom she dearly loved.
A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
