NEWPORT - Kenneth Charles Sheffel, 61, died Thursday, Nov. 20, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
He worked in maintenance, worked with the U.S. Department of Defense, was a Navy veteran, member of Flagg Springs Baptist Church and he enjoyed working on old cars, wood working and camping.
Survivors include his wife, June Faye Powell Sheffel; daughters, Venessa Mills of Germantown and Kelly Sheffel of Alexandria; brothers, Richard Sheffel of Alexandria and Gary Sheffel of Mentor and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 and service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice Program, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017.
