Kenneth Soard

Kenneth H. Soard, 80, of Cold Springs, Kentucky passed away at home on November 10, 2017 under the care of Bluegrass Hospice. He was born on August 24, 1937 to the late William and Beulah Soard. When Kenneth was in the 3rd grade he had to quit school and start working in the fields to help his family. On February 6, 1960, Kenneth married Etta Hay, who preceded him in death in 2010. Kenneth loved to dance, shoot pool and go on Pub Crawls even in his later years. He and Etta were snowbirds up until the time of her death. He was a member of the Eagles and IOOB.
In addition to his parents and wife, Kenneth was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters..
Kenneth is survived by his children Judy (Paul Hornsby) Evans, Kenneth W. (Daryl Cummins) Soard and Emily (Tony Nordwick) Soard; granddaughter Stacy (David Weiner)Sexton; sisters Joanne Lister and Betty Worthington; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6-8pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11am at the funeral home with burial to immediately follow.
