Larry Herald

Larry Herald, 74, of Batavia, Ohio (formerly of Taylor Mill, Kentucky) passed away on November 14, 2017 at Mercy Health Anderson. He was born on November 9, 1943 to the late Edward and Marie Herald. On May 4, 1962 Larry married Carol Morton, who survives. He retired from General Motors where he worked as an inspector for 22 years. Larry was a member of Freedom In the Wind Church in Goshen, Ohio where his son is the Pastor. He enjoyed fishing, but his real love was golf.
Larry is survived by his children Larry (Jane) Herald, Matthew (Kimberly) Herald, Alice (Jake) Smith, Charlie (Misty) Herald; grandchildren Callie, Joshua, Jacob, Elijah, Zachariah, Taylor, Kelsey, Nathaniel, Chance, Hunter, Cody and Logan; great grandchildren Lilly, Skyler, Rosalie, Willow, Zoey, Jackson, Levi, Jackson and Myla; brothers Gary Herald, Roy Herald and Troy Herald; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Freedom In the Wind Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10am until time of service at noon. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
