Lawrence Meiman

Lawrence "Duke" Meiman, 88, passed away at Magnolia Springs Assisted Living on November 11, 2017. He was born on February 17, 1929 to the late Lawrence and Marie Meiman. On June 16, 1956 he married Audrey Holloway, who survives. Duke served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He had worked as a carpenter for the VA Hospital before retiring. Duke enjoyed fishing and traveling but most of all he loved attending the sporting events of his grandchildren.
Duke is survived by his wife Audrey; children Cindy (Ralph) Wallace, Edward (Johanna) Meiman, Lawrence (Lisa) Meiman and Scott (Misty) Meiman; brother George Meiman; sisters Loretta Lightner, Mary Berkemeier, Emma Bramlage; 15 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 6pm until 8pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at the funeral home at 10am. Burial will follow in Mother of God Cemetery.
