Lawrence "Larry" Schmidt,
73 of Florence, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Helen Schmidt. Larry is also preceded in death by his siblings Shirley, Audrey, Marvin, Raymond, Philip and Mary Ellen. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doing random acts of kindness. Larry is survived by his loving wife Eileen "Faye" Schmidt. He is also survived by his children Pamela Sue (Harry "Doug") Taylor of Villa Hills, Kentucky and Lisa Cheryl (Randy) Suttles of Edgewood, Kentucky; grandchildren Taylor Paige (Ryan) Lenihan, Adam (Amy) Taylor, Bryan Taylor, Zack Taylor, Colin Suttles and Chase Suttles; great grandchild Charlie; sisters Joan Lipscomb and Vivian (Nick) Wehby. Memorials suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, February 6,2017 from 11 am until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm. Larry was a veteran of the US Navy and will have Military Honors at his burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens immediately following the Funeral Service.
