Lawrence Wehrle Sr

FLORENCE - Lawrence L. Wehrle Sr., 90, of Florence, formerly of Fort Thomas, died Friday, March 7 at St. Luke East Hospice Care Center, Fort Thomas.
He retired as foreman of maintenance engineers for Sherwin Williams Co., Cincinnati, in 1982, was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Thomas Parish, Fort Thomas, and St. Barbara Parish, Erlanger. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed a good day of fishing.
His wives, Helen (Zint) Wehrle, and Charlotte Summers (Riley) Wehrle; and son, Lawrence L. Wehrle Jr., died previously.
He is survived by his son, Douglas Wehrle; daughter, KathyVerax; stepdaughter, Connie Summers; sisters, Vera Wills and Betty Steele; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12 at St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
