Lee Onkst

Lee F. Onkst, 80 of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on April 14, 2017 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked with L & N Railroad which became CSX and he retired after 42 years as a Conductor. He was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Latonia, KY, Past Master of Latonia Masonic Lodge #746 F. & A.M., member of Scottish Rite, Avid Golfer and a Enthusiastic UK fan. He was preceded in death by a Daughter, Debbie Hoffman in 2004 and a Sister, Billadean Broughton in 2004. Lee is survived by his Loving Wife of 35 years, Linda Onkst; Son: Brian Onkst; Daughter: Michelle Carlton; Sister: Phyllis Ballou (Ron); Brother: Harold Onkst (Dollie); Son-in-Law: John Hoffman; Grandchildren: Johnny, Nick, Jeff and Emilee and 7 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY from 5 pm until 8 pm with a Masonic Service at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service will follow on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Floral Hills Funeral Home at 11 a.m.. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
