EDGEWOOD - Lloyd E. Sandy, 84, died Friday, April 9, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.
He was a driver for Ashland Oil, Inc., with 40 years of service, a World War II Marine veteran, member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Latonia, Colonel Clay Masonic Lodge #159 F & AM, Kentucky Rovers, Edgewood Golden Age and Covington YMCA, volunteered at Action Ministries in Latonia and square danced at Promenade Palace since 1965.
Survivors include his wife, Noma Paugh Sandy of Edgewood; daughters, Melanie Ann Miller of Riverside, California and Cynthia Kay McConnell of Covington; son, Gregory M. Sandy of Edgewood; sister, Mary Ellen Moore of Buchanan, W.V.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, and services are 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Latonia. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill. Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia is handling arrangements.
