Lois Bubenzer, 81, of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 with her family at her home.

Lois arrived into this world on May 3, 1941 born to Verna Mae (Mains) Luke and Lewis Edgar "Jack" Luke in Covington, KY.  Lois graduated from Simon Kenton High School in 1959. She began working at the Internal Revenue Service where she met her husband William “Bill” Bubenzer. They married on December 8, 1962. They have five daughters: Julie Petty (Mark), Jill Sturm (Chris), Joy Collins (Jeremy), Jen Glass (Jason), and Jessica Bubenzer and one son, Darron Bubenzer, who preceded her in death. Lois leaves behind her seventeen grandchildren: Paige, Kendall (Josh), Savannah, Mariah (Jair), Logan, Payton, Ciara, Nina, Sloane, J.T.(who preceded her in death),Zoe, Tison, Tate, Ramsey, Bauer, and Landry.

Lois is best known for her cooking and baking skills, throwing parties, serving poolside popsicles, weekly First Watch breakfast dates, and shopping extravaganzas. She loved her Kentucky Wildcats, always had a bowl of M&Ms on the counter,a clean house, and being the best pet mother and grandmother.

Honoring her wishes, Lois will be buried with her husband at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. A visitation and funeral will take place Friday, September 30, 2022. The visitation will take place from 11am-1pm with the funeral service to follow at Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia.  The burial will be at Floral Hills at the convenience of the family on Monday.
