Lois May Savage,

74, of Alexandria, Kentucky formerly of Independence, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Lois was born in Wadsworth, Ohio to the late Jack and Edis Haggerty. In 1968 she married her best friend John Savage, who preceded her in death on October 4, 2015. Lois was a woman of great faith and attended the First Baptist Church of Milford. She was always willing to help a person in need and to let her sons-in-law’s know she was right. Lois enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law’s Kelly and Dan Gill and Kari and Don Stewart; grandchildren Ryan and Hannah Gill, Lauren and Elijah Ketchum, Katie and Paul Kapitula, Maddy Stewart, Emily Stewart, Gavin Stewart and Sam Stewart; siblings Ray Haggerty, Dean Haggerty and Blanche Beardmore; many extended family members and friends. Lois is also preceded in death by her brother Lowell Haggerty. A Visitation will take place at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Private Burial will follow.
