Loretta Mae Templeton

Loretta Mae Templeton, 82, of Newport passed away peacefully Thursday, February 15, 2024.  She was born on June 22, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York.   She was the daughter of the late Anthony F. Ciccarella and Virginia M. Ciccarella (nee Ackerson).  She was retired from N.K.U.  She is survived by her three daughters, Ellen R. McLaughlin, Gina L. Walthers and Marie A. Webb (Rick).  Predeceased in death by son, Paul S. Templeton, daughter, Catherine M. Templeton and grandson, Shawn W. Templeton.  Survived by siblings, Donna McArthur, Anthony Ciccarella, James (Mary) Ciccarella and Anna (Edward) Woodyard.  Predeceased by siblings, Margaret Roberts, Deloris Dennis and Eleanor Simmons.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-children as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends as well as her beloved dog, Dexter.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, Kentucky with Pastor Chuck Russell officiating, with visitation being held from 11:00-1:00.  Burial will follow at Peach Grove Cemetery.
