Mable Leona Bubenzer, age 94 of Covington, KY was born May 17, 1917 in Vincennes, IN. She passed to Heaven on June 9, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Erlanger, KY, She retired as a Sales Associate with Shillito's in Cincinnati, OH in 1975. She served on the Kentucky Democratic Party Central Executive Committee from 1976 to 1980. Member of the Kentucky and Kenton County Women's Democratic Clubs, Kenton County Democratic Club, Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and the Suspension Bridge Committee. Since 1984 she has maintained her winter residence in Gulfport, FL. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Walter I. "Pete" Bubenzer to whom she was married for 56 years. Also preceded in death by a Son, William I. Bubenzer. She is survived by her Daughter, Barbara Lee Morgan(Curt) of Latonia, KY, her Son, Mark Alan Bubenzer(Sharon) of Lexington, KY, 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Sun., June 12, 2011 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia, KY from 1 P.M. until 4 P.M. The Funeral Service will be on Mon., June 13, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church 3501 Turkeyfoot Road Erlanger, KY 41018 at 10 A.M. Interment in Floral Hills Cemetery.
